My Baby Food Life
My Baby Food Life is a video-based research project that aims to learn about the challenges involved with purchasing, sourcing and cooking baby food conducted by me, Dr. Michelle Davenport. I'm a UCSF and NYU-trained dietitian and you can learn more about me and my background here.
As Mom to a 10-month old baby girl, I know how hard it can be to transition a baby to solid foods. As if the prep and cleanup weren't enough of a hassle, parents are often confused about what to feed their littles ones.
Did you know babies form their adult palates before the age of one? This is a time when learned food behaviors can affect a child well into adulthood.
With your participation in My Baby Food Life, you'll receive a week’s worth of ready-to-cook organic baby food designed by me in exchange for some short clips of your baby food experiences taken over the course of a week. These clips can be easily recorded with your smartphone. Once you send us your clips, you'll receive a box of carefully curated packages of organic fruits and vegetables prepped and ready for you to cook. Whether you're working or at home with your child, cooking or serving packaged food, we'd love to hear from you!
Note: None of your information or video footage will be made public. This is for research purposes only.
Are you based in San Francisco and are the parent of a 6-9 month old(s)?
